Background of Larry Piggott:

  • Period 1973-1979 – Cadet Engineer with Pine Rivers Shire Council (now Moreton Bay Regional Council), graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering from QUT Brisbane at the end of 1979.
  • Period 1980-1992 – Engineer with George Bourne and Associates, Barcaldine. Work experience :
    • Worked within the Central and far Western Queensland area bounded by Alpha-Tambo-Quilpie-Birdsville-Boulia-Winton-Longreach-Barcaldine including a number of towns within that area.
    • Shire Engineer services for various Local Authorities.
    • Main Roads Department (T.M.R.) supervision of work by Local Authorities.
    • Town water and sewerage design input for water treatment plants, water and sewer reticulation systems, artesian and sub-artesian bores, headworks pumps and storage  tanks, town water supply dams, Common Effluent Drainage (CED) schemes, artesian bore water cooling ponds and heat exchange systems, Total Management Plans and applying for Government funding for water supply and CED schemes.

    • Investigations, design and supervise construction of development projects ranging from residential, rural residential, industrial (2 lots to 900 lots).
    • Tendering and Contract administration, site supervision.
    • Team member working with Specialist Consultants on specific development projects when invited.
    • Local Government road designs (Moreton Bay Council).

            Background of Dave Kranske:

  • Commenced his career as a Civil Cad Technician with CARDNO (Maroochydore) in 1999.
  • Joined Greenhaven Projects (GHP) in 2004.
  • Remains with GHP and has advanced to Senior Civil Designer where he is self motivated and continually expanding his knowledge and skills.
  • Skilled, proficient and competent with AUTOCAD and 12D model computer programmes.
  • Design and drafting of roadworks, stormwater drainage, water, sewerage, bulk earthworks, bio-retention and detention basins, 3D modelling and associated tasks of all developments where GHP is engaged.
  • Prepares quantity take-offs for input into Tender documents.
  • Preparation of practical and economical subdivision lot layouts maximising lot yield when the need arises.
  • Interacts amicably and effectively within Consultant teams for development projects.
